Our American Sign Language (ASL) Dictionary

According to the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation, it is estimated that 50-80% of people with Down syndrome have hearing issues that range from mild to profound. We’re still in the discovery stages of determining whether or not Ronin will be able to hear. But regardless, we’ve decided that the use of sign language will be a valuable tool for his future ability to communicate.
Our family has recently started working with an audiologist and ASL instructor to build our vocabulary base. This is a collection of the words we’re learning.
