A S S E M B L Y:
AVOCADO OUTER LAYER + INNER FRUIT + PIT

Using the long brown tail, attach the PIT to the INNER FRUIT. Be sure to have the front sides showing on both pieces. It’s helpful to use the magic rings on both to help center the PIT, then work around the PIT’s outside edge to get a flat placement.

Attach the INNER FRUIT to the OUTER LAYER by slip stitching around the edges using the dark green yarn.
Making sure that both pieces are lined up with back sides together, sl st through both loops of OUTER LAYER and only back loop of INNER FRUIT.

TIP: Keep tension secure but not so tight that it distorts the outer loops.
HOW TO MAKE AN AVOCADO BUNTING:

(Ch 27, attach to next avocado with sl-st)* repeat until all avocados are connected. Ch 100, then break off. Trim yarn ends and knot, if desired.
